Description
TITLE | Rawana
The Demon King of Sri Lanka, and the villain of the “Ramayana”. His sister had been rejected by Rama, and she urged Rwana for revenge and family honour, to abduct Sita, Ramas beautiful wife. He did so and this brought the war that proved his demise and supplied their story with good triumph over evil. Rawana’s arrogance knew no bounds, and he spent a lot of time trying to convince Sita of his superiority to Rama. Of course, he failed at this, even as he soon failed to defend his kingdom against Rama and Hanoman and their Monkey Army.
